St AndReuse is a town-wide partnership project between Transition University of St Andrews and the St Andrews Environmental Network. It aims to tackle waste, save carbon, keep money in our pockets and build community, by passing on what we no longer need. Everything is free, except adult clothing and shoes, which are 5 for £5. Since 2009, StAndReuse have rehomed over 40 tonnes  of perfectly reusable household items, avoided 200 tonnes of CO2e emissions and helped people save in excess of £500k. Additionally, British Heart Foundation collections have taken place this year with 20.4 tonnes of clothing donations valued at making £35,702 for the charity. Since our partnership from 2019 a total of £234,273 has been raised from our donations.
